Top Ideas for Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day can be a tricky subject to tackle, especially with smaller children, but that doesn't mean it's something we should shy away from. Read our top teaching tips here...

1) For Early Years, Terri-Leigh had this idea for a Tuff tray for Remembrance Day.

She said, "After a successful rangoli pattern tuff tray we decided to colour some more rice to create some poppies. The children enjoyed it!"

2) NQT, Ro Ann, wanted to share her display of WWII for Remembrance Day. She said, "The skyline was cut out using a craft knife as well as the Lancaster, spitfire, hurricane, HMS Belfast and HMS Thames. The backing paper is Wallpaper in an Orange colour and the search lights are gold paper. The poppies were also cut out and have 3D centers, made out of blk tissue paper rolled into a ball."
