TV presenter had claimed girls should overlook university ambitions and instead focus on having childrenTeachers have condemned comments made by the TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp that girls should abandon their university ambitions in favour of having children and getting on the property ladder.Allsopp, who fronts the Channel 4 show Location, Location, Location, was accused of being patronising to teenage girls with her comments that, if she had a daughter, she would tell her: "Start work straight after school, stay at home, save up your deposit I'll help you, let's get you into a flat.
