New rules are to be introduced to regulate private tutors amid a surge in the number of middle-class parents paying for evening and weekend classes to boost children's performance in exams.

    I'm a private tutor and I'm well qualified. I've met many teachers in the classroom, who lacked the necessary skills to be able to teach effectvely. This is where the problem lies, not with people like me, who boost grades and help children achieve their full potential.
