Schools watchdog publishes revised inspection report into Bury St Edmunds school without mention of dangers of extremismOfsted inspectors have backed away from allegations that a Catholic secondary school in Suffolk was failing to promote British values or safeguard its pupils from extremism and radicalisation, after protests over rules introduced in the wake of the Trojan horse affair.The revised inspection report for St Benedicts school in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, comes as Church of England leaders voiced criticism of the controversial guidelines imposed by the Department for Education, requiring schools to guard against the dangers of exposure to extremism and to teach British values.
