Department for Education plans to drop international GCSEs from counting in league tablesSchools have been urged to lobby their MPs over the Department for Education's plans to drop international GCSEs from counting in league tables.The DfE's decision, likely to be announced formally in the next few days, represents a turnabout from 2010 when it allowed IGCSE results to be included in performance tables, prompting hundreds of schools to offer the IGCSE in preference to domestic GCSEs.
