  • Children are very confused by the kissing picture for x. They segment kiss k-I-ss and no where is there an x. I can't explain it either. Similar sound when spoken, but with the I between the k and ss it does not sounds like ks. Boy does it alienate the children and is in no way helpful to my current class. Perhaps it would work better if it was a box or fox and the word was written on the bottom with the final sound x highlighted.

  • Hi, is it possible for you to change the p for 'pig' to a different picture e.g. penguin? Thank you.

  • This is a lovely resource but the "i" sound needs to represent "i" as in igloo rather than "i" as in ice. The "x" would be better represented by picture of a kiss ( maybe someone blowing a kiss?!) as that is the pure sound it makes, not "x" as in "xylophone". Just saying :-)
