  • Hi! This is brilliant and exactly what I was after for my little girl who started in Reception this September but we are now being told that children should learn the letters in the new version, ready to do joined up writing, so these sheets are not appropriate.  I find it weird and stupid really, because the "s" becomes a near impossible task to achieve and doesn't even resemble an s anymore! Not to mention that all the script letters in reading books are still written in a normal script form, hence making it all the more confusing for a child who is learning how to read for the first time.  Any advice as for where to find help and resources please?

    • Hi spierre,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :)

It sounds like you need the resources in a pre-cursive font. This option is available as an alternate version, underneath the pink download button. We provide this option with most of our handwriting resources but, when you come across one that doesn't have that option, please comment on the resource and we will be happy to make that addition for you.

      Have a lovely day :)
