  • I've downloaded the editable version of this resource. However, it has downloaded as a PDF. This can not be edited? Can this be amended please? or a word document version?

  • The cone is listed as having one vertex. However, a cone does not have a vertex. By definition, a vertex on a 3D shape is where three or more faces meet. The 'point' on a cone is called the 'apex'.

    • Hi there, thanks for the comment. The cone is listed as having one vertices or corner, which can be shown in the net if a cone. Children have to learn about corners as vertices under the 2014 curriculum. If you download the alternative editable version of the resource, then you could amend the resource so that it says 'apex'. Have a lovely day :)
