Students often don't demonstrate correct formation of letters. This shows students that letters do not start on a line! The red dot really stands out. I would enlarge it to be A3 size so young students can trace the letters easily.

I've printed this at A5 and laminated it. The children need to show me each piece of writing to see if they have improved their handwriting. If they have, they get a sticker to put on the back of their laminated sheet. First child to 20 wins a prize. The children are extremely engaged and all handwriting has improved! Thanks Twinkl :)
