  • Unfortunately there is an error on slide 8 - Clue three says I have 1 edges (should be edge).  There is also some dispute as to whether a cone has a vertex.  Some people would say it does have 1 vertex...

      I apologise if this mistake has caused any problems. I'll let our design team know about it right away and they will get it fixed as soon as they can! We will also double check the current advice on whether a cone has a vertex.

      I have checked our current 3D shape guidance and a cone seems to have 1 flat surface, 1 curved surface, 1 curved edge and 0 vertices. They are currently the properties of a cone that are included in our 3D shape resources. Hope that clears things up! :)

  • As a revision activity on the unit taught. I would ensure that each table had one of each shape in a collection on their table and play it along the lines of a trivia game.
