Use this activity to get children thinking about what it means to be deaf. Statements can either be used for a cut and stick activity, where children will sort into ‘true’, ‘false’ and ‘maybe’, or simply to prompt a class or group discussion about Deaf Awareness. Could also be used as a starter activity for Deaf Awareness training for staff.
