  • Great resource for inspiring writing on mythological creatures. My eagle eyed class spotted two errors in the higher ability reading comprehension activity: There's a missing capital W in the Wulver text (after a full stop) and one question is worded 'Why was it be...'.

    • Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch! I have checked the resource here and everything seems to be working fine at our end! Do any error messages appear when you try to download this resource? It might be helpful to right click on the pink download button, select 'Save as...' and then save the resource to your desktop! :-)

  • I will use this for a comprehension activity. It is relevant and interesting and I will learn something too! Any tips for getting it to print on the page? Even if I select fit to page on my printer I miss some information off the side.

    • Hi lyndasmusic,
The advise from our design team is to check the print settings when printing PDFs as many users print PDFs at the default setting which is often 97%. This can throw out the measurements. Please try printing again adjusting these settings to print at 100%. :)

This fantastic pack contains a powerpoint giving information about eight Scottish myths and legends: the Loch Ness Monster, the Kelpies, Selkies, the Blue Men of Minch, Bean-Nighe, Wulver, Ghillie Dhu and Red Caps. There is a display banner, information cards, Fact File worksheets to be completed and differentiated comprehension questions.
