  • This makes a great social story. I've used this before with my kids. I make a book from the pictures and call it XXXX starts school. I then try and take photos of the same pictures but with my child actually in the photos. I call that book the my child's name starts school. Then when we do the school visit they have already have a strong idea of what's going on. It's also helpful to read the night before they start school as an opener to find out about how they feel.
