  • I really like this. I'm going to cut and laminate and give about 6 cards at a time so my low attaining children can build their sentences and practise reading/saying them.

  • Hi - I love this resource! It will be really helpful for our work on checking our sentences make sense. I would also like to use it for some work on punctuating sentences - would it be possible to have it in an editable format? Thanks :)

  • Will be adding this as a challenge in our roleplay area.
Have created a prompt card to go with the activity:1. Can you create a sentence with the cards2. Can you retell the whole story of The Three Little Pigs?

    • Hello, thanks for making this resource. The past tense really helps. Would be possible to also create a version of the mixed up strips b,a,c pdf into the past tense as well? That way I can print and give it to the children immediately with the challenge already created. The children would then have to cut the strips out themselves, already in a mixed up order and then reorder them correctly. Saves time - thanks.

  • Great resource I always use these when looking at stories in more detail, but can you do one which is pre-cursive and the sentences are muddled up in their row? The children can then look for capital letters and full stops and check their sentence makes sense. Thanks

  • I would use it in a language school for learners of English. After listening to this story we try to reproduce it with help of this material. Thanks

  • I printed some sheets, cut and displayed all mixed. Students had to take 3 cards to create a sentence and glue them in the right order. They loved it!
