what does the 'social context' refer to in this download.

    • Mar 1st

      Hi there,

      Thanks for your comment!

The social context refers to who the child carries out the activity with. For example, if they are working independently, in pairs, in a group or with an adult.

      Have a lovely day! :)

can you please tell me what you use the social context for

    • Oct 20th

      Hi samanthabrownnorton,
This refers to the social context in which the child carries out the activity. Are they working independently, in pairs, in a group or with an adult? I hope this helps. Have a lovely day! :)

    Great resource.....tidies up snapshot observations.
not sure about coding PE AL and CTC? Can anyone help.?
Am assuming AL is adult lead.

    thank you

    • Jun 9th

Hi busyhands, they relate to the characteristics of effective learning so PE is 'Playing and Exploring' AL is 'Active Learning' and CTC is 'Creating and Thinking Crticitally'. Hope that helps : )
