This is a game that I currently play with my class on Jolly Phonic revision days. The children go fishing for a picture card e.g. snake and then fish for the matching phoneme fish e.g. s. I would love to have a Twinkl fishing game for each Jolly Phonics set, for example, s, a, t, i, p, n.

This is an ideal intervention game for a small group The children can have a board in the middle of the table and a have a phoneme each. As words are slowly sounded out from the main picture and initial sounds are identified the child with the matching initial sound places their phonem character down.
