  • Could you correct slide 10 please. The head belongs to the princess, so it should be a possessive apostrophe. I've tried to edit the slide, but all I can do is move the text around. Otherwise, great resource.

  • Developing use of adjectives

This teaching pack contains a PowerPoint which reminds children of what an adjective is and encourages them to think about adding adjectives and adverbs to their writing to make sentences more interesting. The accompanying differentiated worksheets ask children to choose the most appropriate adjective to go in a variety if sentences. You could extend the activity by allowing students to use a thesaurus to find more descriptive words and phrases.
