  • There are errors in this document. Frog and slug are incorrect. The onset of a word is the initial consonant or consonant blend and the rime consists of the vowel and final consonants. It should be fr/og and sl/ug

  • Please create this resource with lower case letters. Students should not write these words with upper case letters so they shouldn't be viewing them with upper case letters. This may only be an Australian view point though.

Can your children pair up the right letter with the rest of their word? Simply cut out and mix up to see if your children know their words and spelling.
This resource is available in Standard, Uppercase, Stick and Ball and NSW.
