  • Some of these are a little tricky for the non-professional to understand! eg in Phase five, what is the word for /ue/ (the one with the group of children) and /e-e/ with the balanced scales (even? level?) Thanks.

      Thank you for your comment on the Twinkl website.

      If you look at the bottom right hand side of the resource there is a star (*) which says even at the side of it- this is to tell users that the scales are representing the word even. The other image that you refers to for /ue/ seems to be representing the words 'queue'
