    • Thanks for your response - sorry i only just noticed it. The ISPACE one is okay, just not very detailed. What I have done instead is used it as a lesson getting the children to make their own instead :-) If ever you do a detailed ISPACE one like the above sheet please let me know

It's lovely to hear from you :) I have taken a look and this resource might not fit well into an ISPACE template, as there are no "ing" words, so example. We do, however, have an editable version of this, so it can be adapted to meet your specific needs ;)

  • I used these a lot last year with Year 6. I will be in Year 5 this coming year and will definitely be using them again. I keep them in the baskets on their tables so that they are readily available for the children to use when writing. Excellent!

This fronted adverbials word mat features words or phrases which can be used at the start of sentences like an adverb to add description to the sentence. A great KS2 English resource to keep on hand as a prompt and spelling reference during independent writing tasks and other activities.
