  • This is a lovely resource but it would be even better if the sentence types each had their own tick box. It's too easy to tick it because they can write statements without ever writing a command or exclamative sentence. We saw this a lot in moderation.

      These KS1 expectations are taken exactly as they are stated in the New Curriculum documentation that the UK government provides. You could use the editable version (available in the 'alternative versions box' to add more rows to the table for each sentence type.

  • Hi Is there a KS2 version (year5/6) with child friendly language that covers all 3 levels on a single page? It would be ideal to put in the children's books to self assess.
