  • A great resource which I have been using with my low Year 2 class to support sentence writing.

I have the same request as Astrim below... It would be great if there were also cards for question marks at the end of questions, exclamations at the end of exclamatory sentences and full stops at the end of statements in keeping with the NC and KS1 framework.

If these could also be added to the 'Checklist for Super Sentences' and 'Flashcards for Super Sentences' that would be super!

Thanks again for a really useful resource!

  • Hi Twinkle,

Love this resource. It would be great if it was editable because you could adapt it to the child's ability. My year ones are only using and and then as connectives so I can't use the connective sheet but if it was editable I could change the connectives to suit the teaching sequence. Thanks Georgia

  • Love this resrource as my year 3s are still not using all these in their sentences but could I make a suggestion...in Key Stage 2 children are encouraged to use a range of punctuation to end their sentences - question mark or exclamation mark - not just full stop. Could you possibly adapt this resource to include this?

    Thanks! Hope this helps...Astrim
