  • Could this be changed, please? You can't roll 'a dice'; that's like saying 'drink a coffees'. The singular is 'die'. I look forward to downloading it once the PDF has been altered. Thanks.

      Thank you for getting in touch. I've had a look into this and you're right historically dice is the plural of die however in modern standard English dice can be both the singular and the plural e.g. throw the dice could mean a reference to either one or more than one dice. Hope that clears things up! I have put in a request with our design team to make an editable version of this resource so you are welcome to change it to suit your needs. :)

Sentence Openers Dice Activity - This resource features a set of colourful cards with simple instructions on how to play this fun game! Have your children play in groups, or on their own. Simply roll the dice and write a sentece using the given opener, then do it again! Great for encouraging creativity and for supporting your teaching on story writing.
