  • I'm just starting some homeschool music lessons with my five and seven year olds.  This type of resource is great - does it exist as a PlanIt pack?

    • Hi ros.howles,
Thank you for your fantastic suggestion! Because we receive so many lovely requests each day, we are unfortunately unable to make all of the resources requested (although we do our best!) If we can make your resource we will be in touch to let you know, though we cannot guarantee when it will be completed. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know! Have a great day :)

  • This is very useful for teaching basic notation and beat, however I would generally relate the crotchet beat to the heart beat to give children an understanding of constant, even beat.

    • Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. Would you like this information to be added to the resource? If so where would you like us to add it? We look forward to your reply. Many thanks :)

This PowerPoint is a great introduction into reading and writing music. Help your class distinguish between crotchets and quavers with both useful information and fun activities.

This resource is available in Standard.
