  • I have written some ideas in the Ideas section -I would present this activity in either of two ways: have the students colour and cut according to directions OR roll a shape dice and colour in the shape a certain colour. A variation of this could be with a normal dice - say 1 = rectangles = brown; 2 = circles = black; 3 = squares = blue etc. You could distinguish between tall and thin, wide and fat etc.

  • Great resource, would loved to see a 'made' version of each of these to show the children what they can look like- as the wee ones found the train making difficult without seeing a finished copy (I had made the bear and car the night before, but not the train)
