  • Will be a lovely addition to my display. I'm going to double side them, so answers on one side and question marks on the other and hang them from a washing line.

  • Would it be possible to get the wheels going up to multiplying by 10 instead of 12? Thanks

    • Hi ohwhatsoccuring,

Thank you for your resource suggestion on the Twinkl website!

We try to make all our resources align with the national curriculum, which asks for multiplications up to 12x. So unfortunately, our design team are unable to make the resource at present. Please have a look at our Create tool here as this may be the best option for your resource :) www.twinkl.co.uk/create

I hope you have a lovely day!

  • Hi,
I was just wondering how have teachers used this resource for homework? Can you use it for a game - please could you share any ideas, as I think this could be a great resource for some children in my class that get stuck on their tables.

    • Hi rosannalilly80,
It's great to hear you like the resource, here are some ideas:

      1) Cut out and stick back to back, using the side with the question marks children can try to give the answers; if they can't figure it out, simply flip over and see the answer!

      2) Use the side with the answers, cover the answers with counters. The child goes round the wheel saying the answer. Remove the counter to see if the answer given is correct. If it is - keep the counter, if not - replace the counter, skip that one, answer the next one then come back to the wrongly answered one. Repeat until all the counters are removed.

      3) Repeat number 2 but have the child answer in a random order.

      4) Repeat number 2 or 3 and time the child. Do it a few times. Can they beat their time? Can they beat a parents or siblings time?

      Enjoy :-)

1 to 12 Times Table Wheel Cut Out Pack

1 to 12 Times Table Wheel Cut Out Pack - These times table wheel cut outs are perfect for the children to test themselves on their times tables - cut out and stick back to back, and using the side with the question marks they can try and work out the answers; if they can't figure it out, they can simply flip over and see the answer! Use them during your maths lessons, giving your children the chance to test themselves individually and each other in groups.
