  • Hi Is there any chance this can be made editable - we would like to use it in our school as a whole school maths target scheme, however we would like to be able to drag and drop the targets into the pencils. Would this be possible?

  • Any chance that there could be a separate set of targets for KS1 and KS2? I teach year 1 and this is a lot of targets to print off each time just for most to be thrown out! Thanks.

    • Hi there,
We have a similar set of resources with targets split up between year groups that you may find useful. Here is Y1 and Y2 - http://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t-n-1110-year-1-maths-assessment-bookmarks-and-cut-outs and http://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t-n-1116-year-2-maths-assessment-bookmarks-and-cut-outs.

    • Hi, thanks for your response. My school are looking to use these pencil targets for ks1 next year and I have just been trying to create my own resource as I am unsure that the resources that you have linked above are suitable for year 1 as many cannot read well especially at the beginning of the year! However, I have noticed that many of your target pictures are really unclear as to what they might mean without the extensive writing underneath. I wondered whether the ks1/ year 1 target pictures could be made more explicit. For example, "compare, describe and solve practical problems for capacity and volume" is particularly vague. I have been struggling to find a way for my year ones (especially non-readers) to access their targets and I think this would be really helpful!!!! Thanks

  • Hi there,

These are great. I'm using some of the numeracy-related targets from this for P1/2 pupils to choose their own targets, but I was wondering if there's any chance of seeing maths targets related to the CfE outcomes at some point? I've had a look through the various targets, and while something similar to the English curriculum targets (the large speech bubbles) would be great for pupils using in their pupil profiles, I really like the small square versions with simplified language.

In the meantime, I'm happy to use the editable version, but I think it would be something really appreciated by teachers using the Scottish curriculum.

    Many thanks.
