  • Is it possible to have just the numbers from 0 - 20?  I would love to use this with my Reception class but the numbers in the resource are beyond us at the moment!

  • My son loves these! We spotted an error - where the cone says 65, the visual representation is wrong, it only has 6 tens and 2 units.

  • Page 8 and page 9 have errors (the numbers are 53 and 57 but blue and green are 58) . Otherwise this is a great resource. Please could you correct them? Thank you

  • This is a fantastic resource, however there is a error on the number 18 cone... the image part of this has only got 16 blocks not 18.

  • Is there a work sheet available for this??

    , Apr 16th
  • This is a great resource for reinforcing place value in a fun way. I would like a copy of the worksheet for recording please ( if it's still available). Thank you

    • Hiya Lucy thanks so much for responding so quickly. I saw an earlier post here from May 26th about a worksheet with blank cones/ fillings for children to record their answers. If it's still available I would love a copy of it please. Thanks very much. I love this site. There are so many quality resources to choose from. . :-)

  • Great resource but as previously commented would it be possible to have a blank resource. I work with a SEN child and need to repeat with as many numbers as possible. We have used the ones you have and he responded well to them.

  • I am just introducing the tens and ones concept in maths so this would be a great busy work activity for early finishers during these lessons.

    , Feb 22nd
  • A great activity.

  • This is great as a group activity but there should be an extra resource e.g worksheet with blank cones and fillings so that children can record their answers and it can be kept.

    • It was yes and has been used over a series of year 1 lessons... Great resource!! Thanks.

      , Aug 3rd
  • That great, please keep the ones resources as well. In my workplace we have to use ones now instead of units so it's nice to find resources as I am in the process of redoing/replacing things for place value work :-)

    , Feb 4th
    • Yeh I agree, both would be super!! It is important for the children to use and know all of the terminology associated with place value :)

      , Feb 5th
  • Brilliant resource, just wish it said 'units' instead of 'ones'. :)

    • Hey there cataudi, thanks so much for commenting! I've had a quick look and passed your request to our resource designers to have a look into :)
