  • Many thanks for e-mailing the straight 1 and 4 version to me. This will be a great resource for me.
    I intend using it as part of a multi sensory approach to number formation . Using number formation rhymes, children will practise saying the formation rhyme as they write the number using various writing materials. I am currently using a range of resources to emphasise the importance of starting each number in the correct place. I am using this with older children who have a habit of reversing numbers owing to incorrect formation.

  • To make individual number strips which the students have coloured themselves. (I'll laminate) They can count out transparent counters onto the strip and add more for a total, or subtract some and see straight away how many are left.
