I usually love these, but I'm not sure about number 8 on this one. It says 'the muffin that has a quarter left' but I don't think a quarter of the muffin is shown. Might seem picky but I've been teaching quarters as four *equal* parts of something.

Year 1 Maths Assessment Fractions Term 3

Year 1 Maths Assessment Fractions Term 3 - One of 7 assessments for the New Curriculum programmes of study for Year 1. The aims assessed by each question are clearly stated on the adult guidance and a marking scheme is provided. Can be used at any point in the year as a tool to gauge prior learning or progress within the domain of Fractions. The beauty of these is there is no reading involved for the class -all the questions are read out by the teacher and they each have a different theme - the children in your class will love them!
