  • So the number at the top should be 35? On the version I have, 65 is the top number and you can't make 100 on all sides. Thanks for letting me know.

    • Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

The top number on the first triangle should be 35 and this is in the version which is currently available to download from the site.

Could you download this file again and this will have been updated in the PowerPoint for you. We have also provided an answer sheet!

I hope this helps - have a lovely day! :)

  • I'm a school teacher in year 2. We've been trying to solve the tricky triangles. We have been unable to solve the first triangle. Are the numbers given in the triangle correct? If the top number is 65 then that leaves 35 to split between two circles. If the bottom number is 10, the highest total we can get is 80 (10, 35, 35). Can you check this?

    • Hi B_bliss,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :)
Do you mean the tricky triangle that has 35 at the top? If you look at the answers it shows you what numbers to use so each side adds up to 100 :)

  • I am considering having a maths mastery/application of skills lesson once a fortnight. These would be ideal.

    • Hi forruths,

Thank you for your comment on the Twinkl website.

I've just taken a look and we don't currently have any answers for this resource. However if you'd like I could ask our resource team if we could include them. Would you like them on a separate sheet or would you like them to be included as part of the powerpoint?

      I hope you have a lovely day! : )
