    • Hi rania_2914,

Thanks for your fantastic suggestion! I've just sent you an email for some more details about your request. Have a lovely evening! :)

  • this is a great resource, but it would be even better if it could be made into a table top resource (in the style of a cuboid) to compare the different ways of making 1 whole.  For example, if 1 sheet had the tenths, quarters, thirds, sixths, etc, that can be laminated and folded along each separate section, to be put onto tables and moved around as a visual aid.  I don't know if this makes sense!

  • This looks like it will be really useful for my year 5/6 group to remind them of equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages. It would be great if there were eighths on one of these, though...

  • Great for my maths class, just starting to learn about decimal numbers. However, the thirds bookmark starts and ends with tenths for some reason. Also needs to have the recurring decimal, as I think someone has already pointed out.
    Thanks

  • As a prompt for my Y5 group. However, please correct the 1/3 sheet to show decimals as recurring or to 2 or 3 decimal places (as 1/6 sheet does) as 1/3 is incorrectly shown as 0.3 and 2/3 as 0.6

  • Good idea for a resources. Could give out to children as a reminder.

Would be good to have a similar one to compare common fractions with decimals e.g. Half, third, quarter, eighth fifth...

Giving the gift of a bookmark can be a lovely way to encourage your children with their reading, or to award them for good work and behaviour.
