  • This is so confused! The download version has different amounts to the editable versions and the editable versions have real problems with the lines for the scale of the potions bottles. Changing it slightly to become Willy Wonka's ingredients but have ended up spending ages altering the lines for the scales on the potions bottles on the second page. Also, the levels of the different potions in the potions bottles don't show up on the Word version. A lovely activity but needs a lot of altering as I've now spent ages tweaking it so that it will work for the children.

  • This resource would be great, however several errors spoil it. In the 'super eco' version I have found the following errors:LA -sheet2. the scale on question seven is wrong, it should total 10/20ml not 100ml.

    , Jun 10th
    • Additionally, in Q 1 of the LA super eco version, the potion should only add up to 10ml.

  • The lower ability worksheet states that William need to make 50ml of potion not 10ml. Also the scale on question 7 for the same worksheet goes up to 100 not 20. Otherwise this is a brilliant resource and i know my pupils will love it

Your children will love mixing a series of horrid ingredients for the witch and wizard as well as sorting out forgetful Apprentice Alf. Practices reading scales and finding all possibilities. Extra sheets of bottles are provided should you wish your children to draw their ingredients in for further scales practice.
