This is great and I plan to use it with my Year 2s (2, 3, 5 and 10x table!). However, we have learnt multiplication by understanding the 'x' to mean 'groups of', so 7 x 5 is 7 groups of 5 and we can count in 5s to solve the multiplication. Whilst many of them are beginning to understand that this is the same as 5 x 7, the middle/lower children would interpret 5 x 7 as 5 groups of 7. They can't count in 7s so they would be stuck! Is it possible that this resource could have an alternative version whereby for example the 2x table questions would be ___ x 2 instead of 2 x___? Thanks!
