  • I would prefer if the powerpoint allowed the children to work out the answer before revealing the number sentence and answer.

  • Using this to review multiplication for a 2nd level class.

  • I would question if this resource is correct. For example, 4x2 when shown as a pictorial representation should be two groups of four because it is 4 multiplied 2 times. This resource shows the pictorial representation of 2x4 which is four groups of two because it is 2 multiplied 4 times.

      We have found that the teaching of multiplication can vary and both ways of writing the multiplication are used differently by different schools and teachers.

      This PowerPoint is available to edit so that it can be changed in line with your own teaching or school policy.
