  • I have just used this for the first time with our class - it was a useful pre-assessment tool. The paper says it is out of 20 marks but it is actually out of 19. Could an extra sub-question possibly be added to question 6 about comparing fractions?

    • I can't find the new version. When I download it, it still says 20 marks and no extra question for question 6. Am I looking the wrong thing?

  • There is an error on the answer sheet. Question 5 does not match Question 5 in the assessment paper.

  • Hi there. Question 6 on this paper does not address objective. The objective is ordering fractions with the SAME denominator and every fraction the child has to order has a different denominator.

  • How does Question 3 objective:
'Recognise and use fractions as numbers: unit fractions and non-unit fractions with small denominators' link to question c of measuring the caterpillar?

    • Hi palnadavda, thank you for your review, I have passed this on to our resource team to have a look into for you. I hope this helps. :)

    • Hello palnadavda, In the curriculum document the none statutory guidance is as follows: They continue to recognise fractions in the context of parts of a whole, numbers, measurements, a shape, and unit fractions as a division of a quantity.
In this question they are using tenths of a centimetre to measure the caterpillar. We will change the answer as I have just noticed that 8 8/10 is not included specifically as a correct answer, only 8.8.
