  • Beginning sentence building. Lovely too. I have used a similar programme from somewhere else successfully and this one looks like some students could use it more independently

  • Is it possible to have the version you created for Lynda78? So that they follow the approach often used by speech therapists as we would also love these. I.e what would be yellow, who blue etc?

  • These are all fab questions resources but it's a shame they do not follow the language through colour scheme used often in speech therapy. I love to use them but find I have to trim them down and reback them as some colours are not the same ie 'when' is green but LTC is brown.

    • Hi there Lynda78, thanks for your comment! I have asked our resource designers to look into creating this resource in line with the language through colour scheme. :)

Who, Where, When Silly Sentences

Who, Where, When Silly Sentences - This activity supports the development of sentences and early narrative. The elements of the sentence are colour coded to match the question word resources (who = pink, where = blue, when = green). This aims to support word order in sentences. The cards can be cut out and added to the sentence strips to create silly sentences. The sentence strips can then be used to support the understanding of question words e.g., Who went swimming? Where is the dinosaur? When did the chicken go swimming?
This resource is available in Standard, Alternative Colours and Blank.
