We are going to use this for EFL kids learning rooms in the house and prepositions of place, upstairs and downstairs.. They will ask each other where the things go and answer in the kitchen/in the bathroom etc.. Mainly to reinforce the names of the rooms.

Where Rooms Of The House Cut And Stick Activity

Where Rooms Of The House Cut And Stick Activity - A cut and stick activity to support the understanding of the question word ‘where’ and the vocabulary associated with the rooms of the house. Cut out the room symbols and let the child stick them onto the house picture. This can be supported with e.g., ‘where does the kitchen go?’ etc. The room symbols are editable to ensure that the vocabulary used with home and school is the same in this activity (e.g., lounge/ sitting room / living room etc.). The activity cards can also be cut out and stuck onto the house. The adult asks the child the question on the cards and then the child can stick the card onto the house. As the child becomes familiar in this task support the child to ask the adult the question. This activity can be used to support students with language delay/disorder / students with special educational needs / students with English as an additional language etc.
