  • I'm using these speech and thought bubbles with my ASD pupils for distinguishing when it is okay to say a thought out loud and when we should keep our thoughts inside our 'thought bubble' e.g. hurtful comments vs compliments.

  • I am going to use the speech bubbles (laminated) to allow children to record what they have learned about angels from the Christian holy book. The thought bubbles will record their thoughts about angels at the end of our topic.

These can be used to support things that can be said and things that are only thought. These thought and speech bubbles are editable to allow text to be added to them. This allows them to be used in a range of activities to support the idea of not saying everything that is thought. These can be used during social skills sessions and in a variety of other settings to support the generalisation of this skill. These thought and speech bubbles will be useful to speech and language therapists, teachers and parents.
