This game focuses on the skills that make up conversations. The players take it in turns to pick out a coloured item. Items that can be used include anything that comes in different colours e.g., buttons, stickers, sweets (e.g., Skittles, M and Ms, Smarties, Chocolate Eggs,) cut up pieces of fruit etc. The players pick an item without looking and then add to the conversation. The colour of the item chosen relates to how they will add to the conversation e.g., make a comment, ask a question etc. This is to support turn taking and topic maintenance. A pick a colour instruction sheet, pick a fruit instruction sheet, pick a chocolate instruction sheet and an editable version are provided.
