  • I am doing a lesson with a P1 class on teamwork. I have used the Tortoise and the Hare story to demonstrate how they worked as a team. This sequencing activity is a perfect follow up to encourage them to listen carefully to the story, sequence it in the right order, colour details. They can work in 2's to help each other. The only down side, the pictures are very similar to one another

These handy story sequencing cards are great for increasing and assessing familiarity with the main events in this story as well as for starting discussions about the different key points and story structure. Featuring lovely hand drawn images of the different scenes and no text, your children have the opportunity to practise putting the story in order before telling it themselves!
