I use these to develop children's fine motor skills. Give children a cocktail stick ( modeled at the start of the year so children don't hurt themselves) children then go round the black outline pressing in. It develops their pincer hold and their hand eye coordination. Put a spare piece of carpet underneath so its easier for children to push through. :)

Love having something visual for the kids to be able to talk about the story in their play sessions and relate to their real life. Going to use this at a parent workshop I am running on storytelling.
