  • I had an interview and read the lion and the mouse story. I handed out these puppets to the children (aged 2-5) and they had to make the lion or mouse noise whenever I mentioned the word they also held up the puppets. It was great fun and got the children interacting really well!

This resource includes a lovely selection of small illustrations from the story of 'The Lion and the Mouse'. Simply cut out the different images, then glue or tape a craft stick to the back of each one. Great for retelling the story, you can use them to assess how well your children know the key events by asking them to act out the plot using the stick puppets.
