  • My 2 year old loves making the dinosaurs out of the shapes.

    • Good evening gingerjo100,
It's lovely to hear you and your daughter had a lot of fun with this resource. We really appreciate your feedback :)
She might also like this Shape Penguin activity: http://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t-t-2545340-shape-penguin-activity-sheets
Let me know what you think!

    • The Penguin looks good, but ideally they'd share the same shapes as the dinosaurs - cutting all the shapes out is quite time consuming and it would be great to have a standard set that we could get out for the different sets of creatures. I keep the dinosaur shapes in an envelope and just print out new dinosaurs when she decides to colour them in!

    • Hello again gingerjo100,
I've just sent you over an email with a range of resources that might be what you're looking for - lots of them also have black and white versions available which you can find in the alternative version box underneath the pink download button - this might be helpful for colouring in. If they're not quite what you are after, please let me know and I'd be happy to look into it further :)

I will be using the resource to make dinosaurs with the variety of shapes, I like my students to have the opportunity to make the dinosaurs that they want, not what I call 'gimmicky art' where everyone has made the same. Thank you for this opportunity. It is also an excellent activity to develop scissor cutting skills and shape learning.
