  • I will use this resource for my son's dinosaur project. He will colour each one in and then cut them out and stick them onto a poster. The poster will have three columns (herbivore, carnivore, omnivore) and my son will have to stick them in the right column after doing his research on the internet to find out what each dinosaur eats. Under each dinosaur he will handwrite their name. He will also stick on some photos from magazines of the relevant food for the column. We will discuss if the animals have similarities which could help us guess the type of food they would eat. We can also put in a modern day animal in each column (humans=omnivores, tiger=carnivore, elephant=herbivore) to show how animals today have different diets.

This should cover literacy and ICT, but not sure how to incorporate numeracy. All ideas welcome!

This brilliant resource allows your children to practice their fine motor skills by colouring in the images, and will help them recognise different dinosaurs with the name under the image.
