This chart aims to support students in expressing and recognising their emotions. The chart also shows strategies that can be chosen alongside the emotion. This aims to support students in expressing their extreme emotions and to offer self- regulation strategies. The students choose an emotion from a set, and choose a strategy from a set and stick these to their chart. Laminate and add Velcro to allow the chart to be used multiple times.
