  • I would be really interested to find out if anyone at twinkl has tried this and whether it worked! This week with my 4yr old, 2 yr old and 5month old I somehow managed to try this not only with large daisies but also oxy daisies and normal daisies and had no success whatsoever with any of them! As far as a science experiment goes I'm a little disappointed - the only thing we have proven so far is that the 'control' daisy which i have put in normal water has still lived, whereas the others in water and food colouring have wilted! I will be trying with carnations and maybe other flowers but daisies for me are a 'no go'!
