  • I am going to use this for my EAL/ESL pupils who have trouble differentiating and formulating the th/f sounds. In our particular area of Scotland the local children use 'f' instead of 'th' (thus, 'fink' instead of 'think'). Polish does not have the 'th' sound and it make it doubly difficult for them to learn to speak properly. Additionally, it winds up effecting their spelling because they are not using the proper letter for the sound.

  • I'm going to use these as discrimination 'boxes' to help children in my speech and language group, to hear and discriminate the different sounds. \along with safety mirrors they can check position of teeth, tongue and lips.

A useful set of display posters, showing how to pronounce V, F and TH (which are difficult to pronounce and often confused). Really handy for a variety of uses!
