I work with a wide range children with emotive and behavioural issues. Often they prefer to see visual reminders of what is expected of them and will open up and verbalise concerns if they can relate to pictures. I use comic strips a lot to allow them to express themselves in a non-threatening way. I am hoping this emotions will help reinforce strategies I am working on with them.
