      Thanks for commenting! It varies on how big you make the biscuits, but on average this should make 16 biscuits for you :)

These lovely illustrated recipe cards include simple, easy-to-follow instructions on how to make your very own hardtack biscuits. Hartack was originally eaten by sailors on long sea voyages and didn't contain anything but flour, water and sometimes salt - it could be so hard that it was occassionally called "molar breakers"! Our recipe uses milk and butter instead to make them a little yummier - try using the recipe to reinforce your teaching on weights, liquid measurements, shapes (cut the biscuits into different shapes!) positional language (in the bowl, out the bowl) and much more!
